- If planning to remain in the country for longer than a six-month period, expats must obtain what is known as a work/residence permit before arriving in Kenya.
- Those who wish to stay in Kenya after completing their studies must acquire a job contract to exchange their student pass for a work permit. The employer is responsible for applying on their behalf.
